Digital FIR Filter
A phase-linear FIR filter implemented in FPGA logic extracts exactly the frequency components you need.
The FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filter is the most ideal digital filter: it has no phase distortion, is easier to implement than IIR filters, and can realize complex frequency responses.
Eddy current testing needs only the signal with the desired frequency characteristics; unwanted components must be removed. From a DSP standpoint, FIR filters can achieve excellent skirt characteristics.
